Paul- I have been replacing the HX zincs every year. They are not terribly degraded but I am mindful that if I let them go they will likely shed pieces into the cooler and fracture when I remove them for replacement. I purchased heat exchangers for my Crusader 454s from them last year. Excellent service, great product and they were well packed for shipping. When its time for new oil/transmission coolers I go back to them.

Well, having fixed the void in the lamination of the panel there was a small ridge at the edge of the void. I'm not sure if this is a result of sliding some adhesive in the original lay-up or overfilling in the re-lamination. The ridge became apparent in long boarding out the primer. http://www.scsl...

Wow! that looks great. That's the most compelling picture yet of how clean the boats look without the bow rail. I do like your other pictures with the Tuna blood better though... I don't know the 20 but I'll keep my eye out as I suspect everything that floats will be on Narragansett Bay this weekend...

Rule of thumb is to keep overhang between at 1 and 1.5 shaft diameters. Too far you have to be concerned about fatiguing shaft and too close you have the issue of reducing water flow thru Cutless Bearing.
