I did confirm that the 55 at the factory being restored is his, he's not a fisherman but does plan on fishing it. Really nice guy, it's been there for a long time now.

I chased a similar problem a few years back and it was the fuel pump.Craig Mac wrote:I had issues this year with stalling on one motor---although I did not have any fuel issues----finally tracked it down to a ignition module----after replacing electric fuel pump and coil.

Re: Kiwi Grip
Tony,
A friend of mine used it on his little 17 foot skiff. It was easy to work with and came out really nice. Gives a good grip to the deck and looks nice. That being said it doesn't look as good as what Tom posted or how Raybo did my top sides. I wouldn't use it on the Bert personally.

Re: Another Builder Gone
A 36 yellowfin is a heck of a fishing boat if you want to run and gun, kite fish, anything where you want to cast or even work a fish around the boat in stand up gear and not worry much about having someone at the helm. It's half the price of the new Bertram or an equivilent inboard walk around. L&H...

Re: Another Builder Gone
I was reading rumors on another board so take it for what it's worth. Viking needs the space to build smaller boats hence buying Ocean and their facility, keep their workers. They'll be keeping the 37 but bring it up to Viking specs and scraping the rest of the line up, but will be coming out with n...

Cannot confirm or deny the rumor but it makes sense. The Billfisher is the only boat that doesn't overlap the Viking line up. Is there any word on if the Billfisher is a decent boat I've never heard from anyone who's peeked around one, been on it or owned one?

Great shots of Buddy Boy. How does the pricing compare to a 35 Carolina , 35 Cabo, and 37 Billfisherman Ocean? Craig, Interesting question to ask. I did say "half mil" in a prior post, so I'm taking the over. Add in a teak deck and combing for me Mr Fallon.
In any case that fiberglass work and paint job I've been saving my pennies for on my ole gasser sure seems like a bargain now, just don't tell Rob.

Tony.
I know the 35 Cabo has some short comings. The accommodations and layout flow really nice compared to other 35s. I'm not sure how those prop pockets were a great choice. Sounds like from what Rob is saying she's gonna be a looker.
