"The best laid plans" Just got a wonderful msg from the mechanic winterizing the motors.... Starboard engine is locked up, the oil is milky looks like it's ingested seawater... Looks like decisions may need to be made sooner rather then later.

Carl,
No pressure but we are still counting on that trip around NY harbor, so don't take to long in getting everything squared away.

I've got plenty of stand up belts and harnesses. But I have a nice chair on the boat and boys 6 and 9, I think they'll be much more comfortable and safe in the chair. Slick butts on two rods so I can't swap butts, the other two have very short EVA rear grips.

I currently have 2 Penn 30 VSW and 2 Penn 30TWs for shark fishing set up on stand up rods with very short butts that don't work in my chair. The boys are getting to the age where we can get out there and need some advice on using longer butt or bent butt rods in the chair.

So my initial plan was to paint both the dinette benches and the front face of the galley. It's very important to sand and solvent clean the formica before priming. John and Tom both used single component Interlux silicone/alkyd/urethane products, so I'm assuming they primed with Interlux PreKote. This is normally a great system, and they both report good results, but formica can be a re...

In the case of the 25 an outboard really opens up the boat with the removal of the engine box. IMO really makes it a nice boat with serious cockpit space.
