Walter, the starboard prop needs to be replaced as do the cutlass bearings. There are vibrations in both port and starboard at lower RPMs, during the survey the thought was that the shafts may be bent slightly. Pulling the the shafts opens the can of worms.

Bob,

I am not in a position to help him find a job but i would be more then happy to help out with the cost of a plane ticket if one of our southern brothers would put him up for a few days and take him fishing. If a few of us can contribute $50 we can get him round trip flight.

His fuel burn numbers are significantly better then another b31 with the same engines. When i first wal...

The numbers do not seem to make sense. If the 454s are getting 2 per engine or 1 total. Then the yanmar 315s should be showing better numbers. Must be an error somewhere

The pedestal seems like a bad idea as it would protrude into the cockpit to much. Up on the bridge they need to be angled back so they are far enough away from the after part of the tower top.

I have found that these are the best vertical fly rod holders. If I could figure out how to mount two sets of four to the bridge or a pedestal launcher I'd be set. They don't safely mount to a horizontal railing so I may need to have a plate fabricated. http://stores.theifly.com/catalog/quadbig2.jpg...
