Thanks bob! I would first mention to any considering this route. The coast guard does not consider moriches a navigable inlet and it is not marked. Some more on moriches, coming in the inlet is much more of a concern then going out, as you make a hard turn north to enter the jetties you can't see wh...

Mark, I've been to just about every town or city with a UW campus. I've had point beer, not much of a beer guy but figured "while in Rome". Half way between Stevens point and green bay is pretty darn rural. Where do you do your boating? I will be in WI for 2 weeks in October, I may be passing by at ...

Randall, We are definitely talking different water. Tons of sand flats and marsh land in my neck of the woods. That's a very cool little setup, with the trolling motor it's 100lbs without it's 90lbs.

The pricing is $3200 with the trolling motors $2200 without.

Now if I had the tailgate I could just drag that little boat into the cockpit.

Or as Randall mentions I could probably drag that boat over the transom into the boat with a little help.

I guess the removable davit is a bad idea? St croix marine products makes a removable transom davit that is rated up to 500 lbs. When properly installed. The engines were realigned so it's not that. The shafts seem to be different lengths the starboard is shorter and barely fits the prop. There are also two different rudders.
