Thanks for all the detail gerry.

I am going to dump the pulpit, put the chock on, remove all the old hardware and position the cleats in a way that will allow the addition of the windlass for the future.

Very good points. After taking a look that you'd need an E or G series. The problem isn't that you need more space on the dash, you just need the newer screens and the very expensive camera.

Ed,

I may take you up on that. At this point I'm looking at the fall and winter and want to run a small space heater and power tools to get work done.

Running it on the hook won't come into play until next year.

I ordered a new seat for the head at marine mate during the week. I have to go tomorrow to pick it up I'll check out the kipor. For a savings of $250 it's worth considering.

New fuel lines went in with the tank. Still smokes when I push her towards WOT but I'm not loosing oil. Running as good as ever. I've used two cans of CX on the bertram and one on the flats boat and trailer. I haven't made it into the electrical panel or the bridge yet. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I'd guess a few of you guys have your own commercial ice maker at home.

Thinking it might make sense, be a bit more convenient then buying ice every weekend.

They are pretty pricey just looking at local retailers 120lb about $1500.

Any thoughts?

I was hoping you were gonna take me up on the offer to take the ride to greenport. Maybe next year.

As you know this rebuild was in the plans anyway but the timing stinks! With about 40 hours on the port rebuild I was just starting to feel good about how that motor was running.
