Your main anchor line gets wrapped around a prop so you have to cut it away and have no propulsion.

Basically every pease of gear on the boat is for safety first.

I shared these numbers on Facebook but want to put them here for the social media hold outs

34kts at 3080RPM
32kts at 2600RPM
28kts at 2400RPM

22-26 kts from 2100-2300

20x24 3 blade acmes, still very controllable around the dock.

The headliner is made of nidacore. They split it down the middle and put it in in two pieces. We initially thought we might be able to get it in in one piece. Yannis. It’s different we were able to completely close it off. Having spent a dozen seasons with water under the cabin floor, that was coming from an old dirty cockpit bilge. It should be a really nice change for the better.

Carl, We closed off bilge water flow under the cabin bulkhead. We will see how it goes over the course of a season sitting in the water but I’m hoping it’s going to cut way down on odors and dampness in the cabin. In those pics are a bait well pump, raw water wash down and standard bilge pump and an emergency high capacity pump mounted higher up and high water alarm. Also the engine raw water in takes have whT folks refer to as crash valves, turns your engines into big bilge pumps as well. Bladders could work...

It’s no big deal not upset, just in hindsight while the deck was out. I agree the fish box either has to be lift out or macerated. To much of a PITA for me. My understanding is they can accommodate side sliding window but not fronts. If you are going to spend that kind of money it would be worth looking into having lewmar make custom hatch style glass that does open into one of these new frames.

Carl ironically the boat runs great on one motor now, something I had really become quite capable and now shouldn’t need.

But yes after many years to go out and know you are coming back is pretty awesome. Maybe a low bar but that was the need.

Spectacular cabin layout, comfortable airy space for day trips. snipes boat took some inspiration from that and the Bad Co boat. Love the amount of light coming from the aft bulkhead.

After some additional adjustments, alignment etc the guys are reporting a top end of 36 kts and 23kts at 2100 RPMs which I think is where we will live most of the time.

Pretty darn happy at this point.
