New Props for B31

Getting some new props for "Catalina" and would like to see your expert thoughts on choices. I found some new TEIGNBRIDGE PROPS (NIBRAL) from a friend at a good deal. Anyone have these props on their B31? Any other choices that I should consider? Thanks for the help!

Re: Rudders Slow Trolling

I have Capt. Pats oversized rudders on my boat, and with my Volvo D4-300 I slow troll live bait with my starboard engine and am able to keep a good heading while keeping the speed under 3 knots. Its about 2.5 without any current.

Hey Peter, In my opinion if your looking for a good all around Mahi and tuna rig that you can someday change into something else, i would probably go with the Shimano Talica II, probably in a 16 or 20 size. This are a two speed reel and are very small in size and weight. And they pack a punch. You c...

Yes, with the navionics you have to buy a certain region. But once you get it, it covers a pretty big area and the detail and information is 100% worth it. Every marker, inlet, rock that comes our on your head unit comes out here, on your iPad. You can mark waypoints, track your current route with s...

I just recently ventured into an iPad, and before i scare to many people away with that fist comment (like i was), i bought the Navionics program in the APP store for around $45. This mapping system which is the same that my Raymarine C120 operates is 100% identical on the iPad than that on the boat...

My boat lives in a hangar next to the water, so she is put in by ramp every time we go out. No problems, we use a tractor though. I sometimes get a little close with the props, buts that because of the poor condition of the road and pavement. Other than than no problems at all.

Thanks Matt, the camera is really great and the underwater resolution is fantastic. If you are looking for more of a professional pack, take a look at Latham Cams (Mike Latham) makes a hell of a product, outrigger cameras that record to a hard drive. Im looking into it for the riggers.

Hey Tony, there are some areas that are starting to chip. Also there are some small areas i would like to touch up from small logs and stuff. I also was thinking about changing the color. Not sure what choice of paint/antifouling to go with for the job.

Hull Paint

Hey guys, looking for some info on bottom paint. I keep my boat out of the water in a hangar, and i was wondering what options i have in bottom paint seeing that i really don't have the need for anti fouling. Any suggestions?

B31 Teaser reels

well they run around $1600 for the pair. Anodized under and powder coat over. Down here in Panama we use them a lot. I have a few friends who have them and there is no better teaser reel in my opinion. Great product and Tom Tessa @ Reel Colors is great to work with.
