You should try a lobster pot in 100 fathoms in 3-5 foot seas with west current and a SW wind at 15 gusts to 20. Thats swinging. Mine swings as bab as it gets. Makes my slick wider when chunking for tuna all nite.

Canal only 19 1/2' clearance and whaen its open its a hard tripn thru. It can be done but better when the lock is closed.

The bite is on at 40 fathoms. Mostly early am. The MAN is out there watching and writing tickets to people for landing the second fish that can not be lifted out of the water. He is working hard. You want to be just south east of the compass rose, 40 fathoms.

Limo is good, but I like the taxi ride. It adds flavor to the visit. If you go to a ammusment park you have to ride the coaster. Good luck with your knee.

You could check the rudder posts. Maybe new packing was put in and the nuts were screwed down to tight, restricking movement.

I love mine because I am on deck. I can drive the boat and fish at the same time. No ladders. I cant see as well as a FB but have gotten use to it. Also I think mine rocks less without the weight of the bridge or because I am lower when driving.

Im not sure but I have two 1800s and if I switch the cables from one to the other they dont work. I think it needs to be calibrated for each unit. I may be wrong. It would not be the first time.

My boat , before I got it, was run up on the east jetty on the north side of the Shinnecock canal at running speed. I was told by Gordon Jackson who fixxed it that he has never seen a boat with as little damage from such a crash. I call Sea Story! There is no way it split in two.
