It depends on if you want to sell your boat down the road and it has truck engines in it vs marine engines on the resale price. That would be something to think about unless you are going to keep it for a long time.

Walter the Brown trout fishing was out of this world!! Caught 32 fish between 6# and 23# on an eight wieght. The wind blew 75 knots for two days which was crazy. It was cold too 37 was the high. Yea you can but just two down lines, no more than that. When its set up right there needs to be 5-9 squids hanging or the rig does not fish right. With two baits its not worth the time and effort

They changed the regs for the green stick because they said we were catching to many fish. I said there is a quota and when its filled shut it off. The penelties are so large that if you do anything wrong your finished they can take everything ie your money and boat and house.

since you have the guages and switches why not put a panal with them in each engine space so you can start and kill them and see whats going on when you work on them and use the helm space for something. Best of both worlds maybe.

Yes it could be a lot more $. That said, I have rebuilt mine before and they worked, but 100 miles offshore as the wind picked up it would torment me thinking I should have got new ones. This was on my mind when I made my prev post.

Get a new one. Two grand to rebuild; it cant be that much more for new, and new is new. You dont want it to come apart offshore or tear something up thats worse. Just my two cents.

Bruce need help boost

Bruce I was hoping you would know. I got the boost guages they go up to 30psi is that high enough for the Yanmar lp6s 315 I was told they develope 32-36psi is this true? I did not see any vdo boost guages that went higher than 30 psi.
