Alright today I tested it 20x23 L cup and got 3920port and 3945 starb at 32.7 knots full load. So I hope thats good. Im glad thats over with and next time something is good I will not touch it and make it better. Thank Bruce for helping me and everyone else.

Bruce can you help.

Tweeked the props and now I get 3840 port 3865 star in the corner, 32.7knots. there 20x23 4 blade m cup. Is that enough rpm for the lp6s? They would spin up to 4080 before. I was told 3850 was best. Both were done full fuel and crew , no ice.

Kevin I have the color twinscope from interphase. It works well but it takes time to learn what you are looking at. At first I could not really tell what the hell I was seeing but after a season I got it. I would not leave the dock without it.

Russ has my old motors and they love to run. And if they have air, fuel, and 12v they will pop on the first turn every time. I do miss them because they were so easy to figure out. The engine would not start. Checked the starter and it was ok. Checked the nuetral switch and the selinoids and they were ok. In the end it was the secondary selinoid had a bad ground because there was to much paint on its contact to the block. Cleaned it off and bolted it back on now its fine. Just...

CJW is right. Put zincs on everything. I have 2 on each shaft, rudders, trimtabs and a large plate, plus on the strainers. I pull the boat half way through the season and replace all. Just how I do it. Do not know about how far from the strut they should be. Mine are 1/2 way.

They dont want anyone fishing. The regs are going to get worse. I will no longer commercial fish tuna because its almost impossible to be compliant. When you talk to someone at NMFS it is clear that they are not on the fishermans side and look at us as crimminals at worst and trouble at best.
