Randle, I suggest replacing the hoses to the upper station with the teleflex black hose and fittings...same hose and fittings that service the lower teleflex helm to teleflex hydraulic ram. As I recall the tower helm is also teleflex. This stuff is cheap and easy to run and install. Good luck Garry

Take the one that is done/turnkey and negotiate hard. Can't believe there is much of a market for gas B35s. As UV has said many times the money is in the steel and gas motors in a B35 ain't worth much especially if you plan to fish offshore. Good luck.

It is safer to say they are all different. Different model 31s, engines, trannys, installations, hell, even the rudders are set different from boat to boat all leading you to measure, measure, measure...

Depends on how you plan to use them. If bottom fishing go with Doug's recommendation. If you plan to use them for trolling then place them where the baits will be in the cleanest part of the wake which will depend on your trolling speed.

Congratulations oon the B31. I recommend the teleflex hydraulic system. Much simplier and easier to install than the hynautic system, especially with dual stations...probably cheaper as well. Keep things as simply as you can....
