Holding Tank Construction

for Bertram 31, hull #161




Construction in 11/32 para ply, completely encased in 8oz. bi-axle glass and laminating epoxy resin.

The sides and bottom are glued and stapled together, a filet add to inside corners, and preped for glassing.

All corners are glassed with 4" tape, inside and out.




The inside is glassed in and given two more clear coats of epoxy.








A final check for fit in the boat.




The finished holding tank, after gluing on top and glassing the outside.

The discharge fitting was fabricated in schedule 40 PVC and glassed in.
