Ethanol and Politics

Post by Peter »

Here is an interesting article in the Financial times. Note that people other than Iowans are beginning to see some problems with ethanol.

The Financial Times limits the number of times an article can be viewed before one must register with them. It seems the link in the above post has hit that limit so here is how to find the article:

Go to "FT.com" Then do a search for "ethanol" and click on the article titled:

"Ethanol fuels rivals' push for prepare for its caucuses"

After you have viewed up to 5 articles at FT.com in one day from your machine it will ask you to register. You can get around this by cleaning out your browser memory clearing all cookies etc. (Not a bad idea from time to time anyway.)

In Internet Explorer select the "tools" menu...then "internet options"...then "delete"...then "delete all"..and if it asks you "Are you sure you want to delete all internet browsing history?" check "yes." When done dismiss the remaining dialog box, close Internet Explorer and then restart it.

After you have done this you will be able to return to FT.com and read additional articles.

Note: the above procedure does not clear out your list of favorites.
