BOAT DELIVERY

Post by Craig Mac »

If sea trials go well, my freind is buying a boat in Cape May, NJ. Will be taking it back to Long Island, running along the beach to Sandy Hook and then to Jones Inlet.

Probably run at 20 kts---Cape May to Sandy Hook--how long a trip?

6 is about right, 7 if sloppy or go right up to the hook before cutting over.

If it gets sloppy, you are still going to be better off outside. Right now, until they get the intercoastel cleaned up from Sandy, coming inside is iffy. It is tough from Little egg to Barnegat inside. Still some junk in the water. From Toms river north, same thing.

Good luck.
