Hey Brew, you're killing me man! I lived that very scene ten years ago, and never regretted going down that road (after I took out the trash, of course). I'm surprised he didn't tell his wife that he was going to the FLL Boat Show and stay in the Flop House. Thanks for the day-brightener.....

Ok, I have been silenced (for a moment).

I forwarded the link to Liz, who also thought it hilarious. Then she asked the following question -

"Yes. But what makes me mad is that I never questioned why you need to rebuild it if it’s the best boat ever built. Damn it. Rather embarrassing."

I have no answer...

I'm thinking Brew could get banned for comparing a Bert to a BayHole, and I'm sure the Viking crowd feels left out. Randall gave me a heads up on this one. Funny stuff for sure!!

Well, you guys who know the long time history on this board, and I mean the 10 year guys, know that there was a fun friend named Timmy or Thudd who functioned much like our court jester for many years. He kept our heads from getting a little too big sometimes, and always was good for a laugh. He also took a fair amount of abuse, primarily because he owned a Hatteras, self named as "The Tubb".

So that poke is completely called for, and more Thudd oriented rather than brand oriented. No one here has ever sullied a viking...at least not qutie in the same way. :)

This is about to become a classic.

Not showing this to my wife. She knows the repower has cost a lot. She just has not been able to figure out how much a lot is. And she does not need any help in figuring it out.

It's hurts!!! I am laughing so hard, it hurts! That skit is awesome! I think he's actually got quite a good point. Makes perfect sense to me. The funniest part is, I've already got one divorce and one Bertram under my belt...and yes, those two are not conicidental. Thanks for the laugh, Cheers!

She's thinking pickling me with the bottle of Patron that I brought back from Greenport, then placing my body inside DeNada the burying the whole kitten and kabodle in the sandbox.

I came home really late the other night and she met me at the door.....where have you been she says. I said well.....I stopped at the pub and had a few drinks with my buddys and while there I met this gorgeus blonde, struck up a conversation and then went home with her and enjoyed several hours of wild passion.......to which she responded......you lying ass, you been down at the boat grinding fiberglass again havn't you???

Really......a lot of you guys have met Jo Ann......you know all this is just talking "Smack".......she wants me to get DeNada back in the water as bad as I do.....she is my best friend.....

That was great! I sent it to my wife and sons and they all said the same thing: "What the hell is that??!!!" My favorite was "I'll bury you in the sandbox after I kill you!" Excelente! :-D
Looking for my next boat!

i think they have mixed feelings about 31s. on one hand the "best boat ever built" has their name on it........on the other..."the best boat ever built" is a boat yhey dont build and had nothing to do with. but it would be funny to anyone even remotely involved.
