On another note I have successfully made contact with Danny and he has sent me pics of rudders, cockpit flooring and some other stuff. He said that he doesn't have the pvc/stainless rub rail but is looking.

You might be able to find a rub rail that meets your needs from TACO Marine.

Thanks Tony is the link below the right one? Is it the same that everyone used on theB31 restos a few years ago? I have a pvc rail on my B31 and it looks good. Just want to know it will look the same as that one?

Get in touch with Mark Demers: he is nice, kind and professional...they offer two different profiles suitable for the 31; one is more similar to the original aluminum rub rail in terms of shape and size, the other thinner.
As far as I understood they are cheaper than High Tide profiles.

This is who actually makes the rub rail, sold in straight sections.

Other companies used to resell it forming the bow for you on a jig. Used to be you could get all 3 curved pieces, bow and stern, than it seems you were only able to get the bow section prebent and had to miter cut the stern.

Thanks. What is involved in bending the bow section? Is it just a heat gun, skill and some care?
