replacing the side panels on the bridge and cockpit

Post by Cturtle »

Does anyone know where to get the materials or similar material to replace the panels in the Bridge and cockpit area. Secondly, has anyone ever replaced the aluminum window frames on a 28' FB. Mine are in pretty rough shape. Last thing, sorry, but will any window wiper fit or is there a special wiper blade. Thanks, the C' Turtle is finely mechanically running fine and now Id like to address some cosmatic issues.

I replaced my panels with 1/4 Starboard--it has held up great. My window frames got beat up also, and I considered removing them and having them powder coated. On closer inspection I could not find anything holding up the flybridge except for those frames, so I decided to leave well enough alone. I filled in the pits and bad spots with marine tex, pulled out the caulking and re-did, and painted the frames inside and out with Rustoleum aluminum paint. Came out looking great.
