Bahia bow hatch dimensions

Post by Bertramp »

Hi there folks....
I'm looking to do a skylite in my forward deck-hatch.
My boat is presently shrink-wrapped.
Can anyone with a Bahia give me the dimensions for the forward deck-hatch ?
It is not the same as the FBC forward hatch, it is actually a pentagon (5 sided)
Thanks

Perhaps he means that the forward side is shaped into a V facing the bow.

Also, keep in mind that in my 28 the sides of the hatch opening (pt and stbd) are NOT parallel, the rear side, where the hinges are placed, is narrower by almost 3cm than the forward side.

Charlie, I was also surprised to read Steve's comments about the bow hatch on his Bahia Mar having "5 sides". So I went to YachtWorld and pulled up some Bahia Mars and checked out the images. Yannis (and Steve) are correct that the leading edge of the Bahias I viewed have a slight "V" resulting in 5 sides: https://au.yachtworld.com/boats/1966/be ... r-3555713/

I'm always learning new things about the 31 on this site.

Steve -

I should be able to get into storage barn and take measurements for you next week, if that's not too late.

Yeah .... the hatch is different from the FBC and Sportfish.
If someone has easy access, I would be "much obliged".
Charlie .... Do you still have your boat ??
