Don't get anywhere near that out in the sun without eye protection... It looks like the shine will blind you in full day light...

Color is Eggshell white.

I specifically chose a white not so bright because of this. Just wait though until it is wet sanded and polished.

Ianupton,
Nice looking paint job, Lots of prep work will always pay off in the end. Don't forget some non skid on the forward deck, looks like an ice skating rink at this time. Great job, come on down to Florida and do my deck and house sides.

Thanks everyone. I have to give credit to Ryan at RCS Yachtrefinishers here in Michigan. Very pleased with his work.

I do have plans for non-skid. Almost hate to cover some of that paint job though.

I am hoping for some additional pictures today. The eggshell white has been blocked down and polished. Waiting to see the results in person. Still planning on going for engine install at the end of this coming weekend.

Thanks John - Maybe someday I will bring her back to the Chesapeake Bay for a visit.

Really getting excited now. I want to get her out into the sunlight and see what she really looks like.

My wife finally removed herself from the decision making process. She was done with looking at pictures of boats and paint cards, etc.

I finally decided on this color after seeing this boat:

I love that you went with that colour, Very classic, very classy ,shows some real style, I painted my last CC awlgrip prairie beige with white topsides and teak bright work accents, black covers, I`d love to say its was my idea but I stole it from a Garlington 80 ft sports fisher that was built here in NZ for a Texan country singer, she was called "Day Money", I`d never seen such a beast,i stopped and stared for so long that one of the crew came out and asked me what I was doing, I simply replied 'I`m staring in awe of such a beautiful thing that I just cant stop looking' He must have thought me NUTS, but he indulged me a little telling me about her, that colour stayed with me until I could put it on a boat of my own, MY wife HATED it I loved it ,wifes come and go,but boats are forever

Capt. Patrick: You hit the nail on the head -- I was looking at the scale and thinking -- either he's from Gulliver's Travels, or that really is the best looking 20 ever done.

Ian -- aren't you glad you didn't go with the 20 and Yanmar that I looked for you 2 years ago? Nothing like the look a a Bahia Mar to me, and even better when someone takes their time to produce such magic.

Hey, Mark,

Sneak over there to Clarkston and snap a photo of Ian so we can see his mug shot as an avatar....

Or better yet, Ian, send me an image of YOUR choice, so that Mark doesn't take one with your tounge sticking out....

Tom - Had I purchased the moppie with the Yanmar, I would have only used the power for this boat. The moppie would have been stored for future use. Call me crazy, but I think I would like to try outboard conversion like John.

Just dropped her off yesterday for engine install.

Hoping to get some pictures today. Keyhole cutout and engine mount are all in place. Pretty much a bolt up and align.
