Calling the Atlantic City Rendezvous.

Post by In Memory Walter K »

I received a call from Terry Frank last night. It seems that the Mid-Atlanic group that just had their Rendezvous, created a banner honoring Uncle Vic, which all the participants signed. He wanted to send it to me to take to the Northeast Rendezvous for all of us to sign. I am pretty sure the Atlantic City Rendezvous is before the Northeast one so I think the banner should go there first before coming to me. The intent is to send the banner after all the signatures and written comments to the Roy Family. Can someone pass on to me the name and address of who in the Atlantic City Committee Terry should send the banner to?

Walter, that would be great. Terry Frank and his son, Chris, created the banner for the NC Rendezvous, which just concluded this past weekend in the Morehead City area of North Carolina (which includes Beaufort, Atlantic Beach, Harkers Island, and Cape Lookout).

I was disappointed to hear from Charlie that it seems there will not be an Atlantic City Rendezvous this year.

A suggestion if I may. There are a number of NJ Faithfull that are not that far from Charlie. Maybe one of us could get the banner then we could pick a Saturday and meet some place and sign it, and toast one to UV

Well, the nerd in me has one suggestion -- make sure you sign with something waterproof -- like a Sharpie -- we don't want anything fading or washing away.

I will. Should be simple. Famous last words. I am in Forked River almost every weekend. Charlie, JP, and others are close by. I will check with those guys to see if they have a good spot we can all meet.

That's fine. I PM'd Terry. I will try and coordinate after next week when I get back from my trip and can spend a few minutes.

If not on the back of your boat, we can find some place local, Toms River, Brick area.

Need to reach out to the gang, that may take some time up.

There are a bunch of Bertram guys in the Brick area. I like JP's offer. In Brick there are
THE ROAD
RUMRUNNER
BOLD EAGLE (Sold but Steve would probably like to sign)
Quota II
DUKE
Shot & Beer
Backlash
My Shadow
Happy Hour
JP&C
and a lot more
