Getting wet

Post by CHolgerson »

Hogie is getting splashed after a long off season of motor work and cleaning. Looking forward to the upcoming fishing season. I hope everyone is healthy and doing well.

Thank you Tommy. It is my father's boat and they are both down in Indian River Delaware. It has cummins 6bta 300 hp for power.

Looks great!
Hope you have a great season.

So is the chair mounted up that high in the center of the cockpit or just put there?

When I saw picture quickly last night, boat appeared to have a gin pole with radar stuck on top. Went to bed thinking that's an odd design. A good night s sleep, some strong coffee I can now see its a light pole, and one that is not attached to the boat.

The chair you see in the picture is the passenger side helm chair. It is mounted on the engine box, which was placed in the cockpit during the photograph.

Chris, who’s the tiny little skipper at the helm in the last picture?

"Hogie" looked great in her slip yesterday. It's one slip closer to me since Chris's dads neighbor just got a zillion dollar Grady (twin 425s) and he wanted to swap slips so he can use his gunwale door. Also have a third Bahia Mar "Reel Classic" on the next pier. Since the restaurant and bar are closed everyone was out on the docks enjoying the great weather. And for an added bonus, while fishing the Del-Jersey for sea bass, I saw Jimmy G's "Killer Instinct" in the flesh. What a beautiful ride.
