in trouble again

Post by Bertramp »

In FL, we have a refrigerator with freezer in the garage.
My wife has never liked and has outright complained about the fact that I took over the freezer for bait.
Well, I'm in NY and she's in FL, yesterday morning, she noticed that the garage kinda smelled funny.
Long story short, refrigerator took a dump and along with it my "bait-freezer".
3 boxes of chum, a bunch of rigger ballyhoo, misc other goodies .....
Now we're talking South Florida, where it was 80 degrees when I left on Saturday.
Suffice it to say, that 1,000 mile distance is appreciated right now ... and the canal has been freshly fed.
She was NOT a happy camper !!

Steve...

I would say that the time it will take for that smell to travel from FL to NY is about as long as it will take for her to forgive you!

Good luck buddy!

Yea Steve...I wouldn't be rushing back to Florida any sooner then you have to.

Lucky me, I've only left my bait in the boats freezer a few times when the power has gone out. Of course it was always on the hottest days. The stench would seep right into the beer cans. I reserved those for 3rd and 4th round of beers. Guys would take a sip, you'd notice a strange look with a moments hesitation...then a shrug and chug.

Steve, not me but my dad had a similar problem in Florida. I wish I could give you a quick fix, but man you are in it deep! At least up here it would have stayed frozen this week.

Before you go out and start looking at diamonds, start having flowers delivered on a weekly basis.

Then buy the diamonds, then all I can say is that it was nice knowing you. You did tell me one time you married a Jersey girl right.

Maybe one of the Florida Faithful will post the headlines from the paper about how they found your body stuffed in a freezer after one of the neighbors complained about the oder.

But I like Mark's request, send us the long uncut movie version.

All I can say is that I am glad I am not you.

Steve,
Do not be surprised if she has the refrigerator installed in the cockpit of your B31 by the time you return.

Tony, she lived 73 Baylor Ave, backing the golf course, her kids went to Pascack Valley HS.

This!!! The female of the species can be very inventive when their goal is to get "even"...

Oh, and if she does, don't ask how to remove the smell from the boat... She'll tell you to soak it completely for a while...

Steve

I believe that was right on the River Vale/Hillsdale border. I have lived up here since 1995. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately after we see what she does to you, i did not know them. I should ask my cousin. She has lived here about 30 years and was a school teacher.

So .... just as the smoke has cleared from the refrigerator catastrophe ....
I say to my dear wife "I've been on a plane almost every weekend for the past 2 months heading to Florida...you should come north" (said this 2 weeks ago, not being able to predict weather)
.... well she's here in NY, her return flight to Lauderdale has been cancelled and guess who once again is in deep doodoo !!

Steve...

My grandmother used to say good things and bad things come in groups of three.

You are now on the second..

Nuff said?

3 would be loss of power.

Anyway Steve, look at it this way, if she carves you up and puts you in the freezer, this time of year, no one will know you are in there until the spring when you start to smell the palce up.

I really think you need to buy her a ticket to Hawaii. That should cure all ill feelings.

But you know, until you are married, you just don't realize how easy it is to get in trouble, even when you try and do something nice.
