Depending on how long it may have been since the last service, you may be further ahead in terms of time and effort by replacing the hoses rather than straining with and trying to save the old ones. The Bahia is the only 31 that I might consider outboards on, although a VERY knowledgeable friend from Montauk told me that there is a 31 with outboards at Ocean Reef that is phenomenal and runs great !!
