Mark, I am laughing in my desk chair!
As for the damage, I hope Alchemy is so lucky, when we get our next storm that is real.

Alchemy was painted with Awlgrip, and I am getting black stains from the rain that just don't come off with soap and water. I am hesitant to use any secret potions for fear of screwing up the paint. In the old days with gel coat I would just polish it out with some cleaner wax. No more. Help!!! Plea...

Carl beat me to it! I was going to recommend either McMaster, or Grainger, or perhaps MSC.
Or if you have a local industrial supply house, they might be able to help. Otherwise all of the above would be good sources with my first choice probably being McMaster.

Yannis, My boat is, as I recall, around 11,000 lbs? All I know is that when I fuel after a run of given hours, I can estimate the consumption to nearly the drop based on that consumption level. Take for example a canyon run (up here, out to the offshore fishing grounds) which is about 110 miles each...

Keep those 3208's. They are great engines in that boat. Yes, tight as the first time, but they will last you, and they give great economy. Speed is good, but in my experience in my 31, only usable in occasional conditions.

I was going to ask, Hynautic, sea star or other? They function somewhat differently. I had a sea star for 15 plus years. It worked very well.
