Re: Cabin door window needed

The 28 does not have a door window and I need one too.
Just because the 31 window will not fit, I inquired and there are companies that can make a new window to measure.
Therefore don't lose hope, if nobody shows up with a spare window, you can still make your own!

Re: B31 police boat for sale ebay, not mine

I have tried so many times to understand the reason why people buy these huge ribs. To start with, almost none of them sells for less than 100K, so the claim that they are economical is not too credible. Then, comes speed. I understand that this is a true benefit, but could speed alone be a reason t...

I understand your situation may be different. For a 2m dinghy it is pointless to carry a battery just to start a 2.5hp engine. Besides, the longest distance any such dinghy will travel is max 100m. From the beach to the boat. When I said that there is no safe way to start a motor at night, I meant t...

Re: Gas Struts on Engine Box covers?

Yes Carl, I understand.

So,if you eliminate the hinges that are aft and instead affix a piano hinge (or two sturdy hinges) on the outboard side, then you could lift with a pulley.
It doesn't seem such an extraordinary task, why not study if it's feasible?

Tony,

In the second pic that Shannon posted on Jan 6th, it is obvious that the box opens 100%. If the box is also hinged on the outboard side, I see no reason why it should need to crash down on you, with a pulley system attached.
Unless if all the 31's are NOT made the same.

My 28 with 4LHA’s burns 2,6 liters per nautical mile, all yearly miles and idling combined.
The miles (which miles?) per gallon notion is unknown to us.

After the plaster mold is dry, you can then reinforce it with plastered-on wood strips to prevent lateral twisting.

Then, if you're not sure or just cannot do the heating of the plexi job by yourself, you can take the reinforced mold to the plexi technician and he'll do what's necessary.
