BTW take note of the actual size of the fish box area ,this is maximum from stringer to stringer almost 6' and much larger then a 50' Viking all you have to do is run that exhaust to the outside but that's another story.

this is how i started ,i had to make a template and than cut out the Burmise teak.you have to make custom because you are working with 44 inches width instead of two seats at the normal 24" each so you use one arm between the super confutable chairs.

the advantage of mike`s system is you don't need generator running and up north the A/C on bridge is never used especially if the boat is moving with air coming into the bridge thru open front.

no more chisels on boat for these delicate task. the very best tool i could possibly used is the real deal Fein tool from Germany there are many knock offs available in the box stores but the Fein oscillating tool can do so much that no other tool can do.
