Tony Shearwater had big old cummins v-8s I think 903s. It's repairable, set up for diesel from the factory Gif kept her in great shape. A time capsule that deserved the rehab it surely was headed for down south.BH

Tom, try hanging the transmissions from the gantry to get your rear mounts set. The angle is what it is and much lighter to work with. I then found line drawing for my engines and made up a sheet of plywood to get me close. Eventually you do need to hang both to get it just right. I couldn't use the...

I'd say she is fine to move across the yard..hauling her 1000 miles maybe not. Looks like you got some good side to side bracing with the bulkheads. When I took my 31 apart I took a bunch of measurements and when I cut the top free she didn't move. BH

Cam, I used plexus adhesive to do my "structural" bonding, the glass will break before that stuff cuts loose. I would then make a nice filet on the outside and a bigger filet on the inside with some 1708 tabbing just to make it bulletproof. Probably overkill but that's just how I do things lol. BH

Spoke with Charlie at Southhold Seafood he has us booked for Saturday @6:30 New England Clamboil with lobster, mussels, steamers etc. he said shouldn't be more than $30-35 a plate. Keep me posted on a head count, all are welcome. BH
