They are installing a generator as well... I guess the gen could go outboard of one of the engines but that seakeeper has to be in the centerline of the boat
There is not that much room under the floor between the engines or in the cabin, right???

That is crazy! That O-Ring would be another point that would give a loss of oil pressure. Sometimes there are parts that supercede and an update "may" have changed it to some sort of O-Ring but I DOUBT IT. The O-Ring might seal initially BUT would probably allow oil pressure to bleed out as the oil ...

From the pics you posted Micky, I would say it is usable as it does not appear to be galled or have catastrophic failure. Get it to a machine shop ASAP! Like I said if you were able to do this much (dropping the pan and pulling the journals) than you are half way there....just take care of it yourse...

If he did touch the bottom end then he never had the crankshaft checked to see if in specification. Looks good so far Rick, Widening the bridge is a nice upgrade if you are willing to go that route. If you look at the 30 CC Tournament the bridge is huge and I think when they built it they took many of the shortcomings of the B31 and tried to better the 31 with newer ideas.

If it makes you feel any better my port side engines runs a similar path. The Cummins have the raw intake on the "port" side of the engines. I use heavy duty reinforced hose and it handles the path and bends pretty well with no stressing bends

I would imagine it is because the engines are sitting at a height that is prob too high combined with the 11 degrees struts.
