pretty much the same installation 16 years ago and it feels like yesterday .we have the same performance numbers both engines can rum 2950 rpm but i have 330 hp and run under prop. hand formed 3 blade 21" x 24 " .nice work enjoy

i gave away four pair and have one left if you need them!!! and BTW a airplane and a boat are no comparison ,a plane has air above and below but in a 31 Bertram the idea is to get air between the strakes for lift.aerodynamics is a hell of a lot easier to play with than hydrodynamics

think !!!!!!when you are in a kayak or a canoe and you want to slow down or stop you simply put the paddle in the water flat side of paddle down and the kayak slows down thus the same thing you are doing with those trim tabs to keep you on plane ,it is going to coat you fuel economy.

i also have truck delivery to my boat, last price was $5.10 (commercial head boat) price aside from price the fuel additive is fantastic also kicks it up to 45 cetane.never so much as a minute speck in Racors truly spotless fuel

almost exactly mine but i rotated 90 degree fittings to use 70 degree at bottom. 4" ID out of turbo is perfect iand 6" wet pipe for 330 ,370 hp cummins any more than 4" ID on the hot pipe and you lose on volumetric efficiency .

i have been using prop glide for a least three years quite a bit less expensive than prop speed but works the same. gain about 1 1/2 knots if you do the entire running gear of course i apply myself no body is allowed to touch the boat ever.

carl that's the key words"to much wheel" you have three blades with the same metal in the water as a four blade. the cummins have gobs of torque .the object of the performance game is to utilize this.each engine putting out almost two and one half times the torque of those 440's.

thank you robbie i go there every day to do what i can to comfort her. i got her a 1st floor window bed so i built a series of iron hangers to put mutable baskets of flowers outside her window and change them seasonal. my only through is her comfort.

my struts are unique for a 31 Bertram . they are imbeded in the hull bottom at a angle and epoxy in place never to be removed!!!!! bronze bolts are double nutted and torque up while epoxy cures. you go aground game over!!!

totally encapsulate CDX plywood twice with epoxy ,no way in hell would you get salt water penetration. ( have patients soak it in epoxy)

center section make dead flat and port and starboard sections taper about 1" from center section seam to belly band adjacent to hull sides water runs of then flows towards transom and then water is directed to sealed scupper box on inside of the hull to scupper on transom .works perfect!!!!
