I got everything that you said, but, the part about the corners. Do you fasten the two pieces together with a screw or two? or do you screw each piece directly to the hull right at the corner only?

In the corners, where the side rails meet the transom piece, how do you bond the two pieces together? Would hull stress cause the joint to crack? What do you prime the rail with before painting with Alwgrip? Anything else that I forgot to Mention?

Hey guys,
What are the pros and cons of painting the rub rail? What are the effects that a person is looking for? Our boat is prepped and waiting for the wind to stop blowing so she can be sprayed. We're going with aqua mist on the hull, and, snow white from the rub rail up.

Fellas, Our boat is fl yellow...everyone hates the color...we're changeing to aqua mist whenever the fog lets up. I'm blind as a bat, and it really shouldn't matter,but, it does...the wife hated the yellow from the get go...she's crazy about the white, but, with white boot stripe, bottom and canvas....

Oh well...they sound good running from the garden hose...keep my fingers crossed. Just heard from the canvas lady...enclosure is done! Paint is next, then, upper station of tower lifted on...tower already rigged with quick disconnects for plug and play.

mechanical fuel guage

Fellas,
Need some advice on a mechanical guage that will mount on top of my 270 gal fiberglass tank. The tank is approx 4" higher than the orginal 223 gal Bertram tank. There's no room on the helm for an electronic gauge.

Any thoughts or advice will be appreciated.
