Kipp, Kingfish and I were there in early October for a bragging rights tourney and it was off the hook then too! Whales everywhere, sea turtles, Dorado, tons of stripeys, a few sails and a blue or two. We had fished with Redrum and they just won the big Tuna in the Los Cabos Tuna Jackpot, worth abou...

Sean, I have had a similar problem with some of the hickory furniture I have sold over the years. Strange little piles of wood dust re appearing over and over after vacuuming the showroom floor. The end result though not likely your end result, we were told were hickory beetles. These tough little b...

Joef, I wish I would have seen this when you first posted it. Alloc, which is a laminate flooring, has a click together product called shipsdeck oiled teak. (I think, I sell the stuff, but to much liqour has passed the lips) anyway it looks very authentic. About 20 sq. ft. in a box and you could glu...

Bruce your new saying has reminded me of a time I was driving down the road and as I came upon a county truck pulled over to the side. Cabo fishing tournament
For anyone that might be thinking of going to Cabo this October. I got involved in this last year and it was a blast. I managed to get Kingfish involved as he had posted on here that he was going to Cabo for his anniversary, so I PM'd him and said hey, ya wanna, and he said if the boss lets me! We e...

My friend what is important these days is that your aim with cerveza to mouth is acurate! If you've seen those old "Hollywood Squares" quotes that are flying around from e-mail to e-mail, my favorite is when Peter Marshall asks Charlie Weaver, "Back in the day when grampa would put horse radish on h...

Rawleigh, I'm sure it was a workout, but most of those fish were caught way green and horsed in, and with a 30 ft leader and a couple of cranks,......well? There is a picture on Bloodydecks.com of a bill busted off in a Tuna tube which sort of speaks to the green fish boatside issue. http://www.bloo...

Hey Jim, I thought you would get a kick out of this. Can you imagine how crazy that must have been? Terry was there as an observer on the second place boat, "get over it" and said he had to stand on the flybridge and allow and disallow fish because they were calling out "leader" so fast he couldn't ...

Bruce, You want the JL Audio 10" subwoofer with the infinate baffle. That will perform with no backing and sound great! Cut a hole, shove it in and your rockin. It is rated for salt water use and, in checking price I got $250.00 In my opinion far superior to Clarion. No offense intended to those who...

John, Some of that is very valuable information, some of it is bunk. Big jon makes a great set of board reels that both pay out and reel in very nicely. Also height of the board line at the boat really doesn't matter. What matters is you have good boards that pull hard and keep the line tight. Also ...

temp Gauge issue
My Starboard Temp gauge started to peg out last year during sea trials. This would happen upon start up not something that would gradually climb. The engine ran great and was cool to the touch so my question is; would you suspect the gauge, the sender, grounding, wiring?
Thoughts?
Thanks guys,
Mark
