Diego, This topic was on the board a few months ago, and it was tillted to the brand VC Offshore performance epoxy. I also keep my boat on a lift and don't need the anti fouling properties like anyone who keeps there boat in the water. The paint is shiny and hard, and doesn't look like crap like mos...

Fellas, I have a 25 yr old 2200 Honda that weighs about 70 lbs or so and is quieter than a Coleman but nothing like the IU that your talking about. It's got a vunch of trouble free hours, but not real light and a little loud to go on the Bertram. It's a true Honda and not the Mickey Mouse one's that...

Thanks Ed C. and Lois for the invite!
You guys are great! Ya'll openned up your home to Pam, Danny and myself last year, and invited us back for another trip this time around! What great friends! CamB25, Have you considered one big single with a small 4 stroke kicker? Alot less fuel consumption and alot less weight off the transom especially if you kept the kicker in the cabin untill needed. If one of the 150's stopped running, you wouldn't be able to get the boat up on plane with the other ...

Ernest, It seems like most of the new boat lifts come with galvanized cables...still can't figure that one out, but, the cables that I used to lift my bay boat out with, lasted 3 years and then were replaced with stainless. I had a 25 Blackfin do the same thing that Lil Bert did about 20 years ago a...

Kevin, My boat will stay on a lift also, so, I wasn't worried about anti fouling properties. After grinding off the bottom paint, and getting the gelcoat real thin, they applied VC performance epoxy. The bottom is as slick as a baby's butt. It's almost as slick as my hull sides. A few years ago, it ...

Bob, Don't worry. ..I'll do fine...what's your rubrail made of? Titanium? The man working on my boat is best friends with the Cabo owner an...

Hi Bob, You were very helpful in Greenport in showing me around your boat, and I appreciate it. Bob, I asked you about your scuppers and you gave me the name but I can't remember what it was. Mac, I don't know why they don't make the shifters and covers out of s.s. Seems like it's almost impossible to keep the chrome on them. corrosion on tower?
We've been wiping CX on the tower every couple of months or so, and noticed some corrosion spots under the half tower. We applied some Woody wax and then hit it with the copper wool a day later. After doing this a couple of times, we finally got the spots off. Scary stuff. I know that once it starts...

Blackfin 32 & 33 ?'s
Sorry, the board is kind of quiet this week, so here it goes. Last week, I fished on a 32 fb F and a 33 express. I liked the ride and layout on both, especially on the 33. The 32 had Cummins b300's and the 33 had Cummins c350's. Is the hull the same or there differences? Cosmetically, how do they lo...
