Re: Blasphemy? External Strainer installation?
I installed external strainers and so far don’t seem to have any issues. I did angle them slightly as per Pats article. If there is any issues with flow you can slightly oversize the holes in the screen right below the through hull. I am running Cummins 370’s with 165 deg thermostats and ran at 178 ...

I change my layout to open it up some and love it. Removed the starboard side closet.Moved the head forward on starboard side made it smaller. The aft windows were made larger and you now can see out to the cockpit without the head in the way. Removed some of the port side forward dash to open up th...

Frameless windows for sure and they are direct glazed in. I did mine the same way. The front one on here is a work of art. Pro curve made this window. Same people I used for my windows. They are the best for custom glass! https://www.procurveglass.com/

If you have Cummins engines I have the lengths they were all different. I also did as Bob did and ran three down starboard pilaster and one down port I routed the cables slightly different the stock. There should be numbers on your cables on one end or the other. My stock ones were all the same leng...

I believe the resin used is vinyl ester pretty sure it is safe with ethanol. I think some of the original tanks were ok with ethanol mine was fine it didn’t break down but my Dads deteriorated and the resin ran through his engines making a real mess.
