There is a finger in the tails of 56. out at 500 fathoms east about 9 miles is some 59. Might hold some giants, maybe. The next patch is in atlantis. 56-59. Lots of bluefins maybe.

I think Walter is on the money. Cable controlls. Electronic stuff is for F18s. They have a ejection seat for when they stop working, a B31 does not. just my 2 cents.

I think the side window is to big. It should be two windows. In huge waves, slamming, I would think it would flex too much. If it works on glass then the bottom of a boat should not be all that different. I run 90 miles offshore. If I get two knots I could back off and go the same speed and save big dollars on fuel. At 5$ a gal it would pay for that stuff fast. Also less stress on the engines.

I would use a sea anchor. That is what I use kite fishing on my Bert. I run two kites with 3 baits each. I do not put it way out. Only 15' at most.

Walter, the rod casts the crab fly well. The guide said in 20 years he has never seen a permit that size caught on a 5 wt. Another comment was made later(by another guest) that nobody was stupid enough to try. "Stupid is as stupid does" is what I said after several clears.
