Re: Bertram 37 finished
Gert, Sweet looking 37, you have a good eye that's for sure. I will forward those pics to my Dad, some great ideas when he gets ready to do a makeover on his 87' 37. Great boat has gotten us through some nasty stuff, good luck and enjoy. Keep the pics coming from those exotic destinations. A Bertram...

Re: Half Mold 31
Navatech, the half models are gelcoated, but due to the spiders in the mold they must be sanded out. Trip and I have discussed making a new mold and using custom gelcoat colors and or white to the customers request. For now keeping it simple is the plan. I put a call in to him today for the next bat...

Looking good, great to start out clean and straight. Pay close attention to those windage gaskets on the cummins, they like to bleed. Harry Babb had me put the gasket on the tray with adhesive and wait a full day before putting it on the engine. No more leak. BH

Jimmy, impressive numbers, Tony Athens likes to see 3100 for those engines, as you start to load up with gear you want to make sure you can still hit that max rpm. Pulled the first few parts off the mold this week. The mold had a few spider cracks that transferred to the part but with a little sanding they disappear. The blue proving dye shows the areas with blemishes. The builder said he can do the parts as is for $125 or $175 sanded out, plus shipping. I can...

Joe, rule of thumb is 1" pitch per 100 rpms, you may have a combination of bottom growth and tired engines. Looks like your chasing 900 rpms, I will let the brothers with gassers spec the prop size. I run 21 x 22 with cummins 355hp. BH
