The glasstech cockpits that I have seen end at the aft end of the engine boxes and offer a small piece that goes in the walkway between the engines. What do folks with Bahia Mars do for the remaider of the floor or is there a piece available that I am not aware of ?
thanks

My girlfriend's son is a senior at Virginia Tech, but is presently in IRAQ serving in the US Army through joining the Virginia National Guard. He will be coming home in a few months and his Mom had a "Welcome Home" banner made for him. The company that made the banner had contacted the families of h...

Had fired a few over the years, but just bought my first gun yesterday. Mossberg Mariner 12 gauge (very tough to find in stock). Years ago, I never would have considered it, but "the times they are a changin'". My Mom passed away about a yr and a half ago, she was 86 and a half yrs old. When the Pol...

If the option is there for marina owners/operators to buy lower ethanol level fuel or even zero ethanol level fuel, then there should be no problem. I was and am surprised to see a marina on the intercoatal near me advertising ethanol free fuel. If this is available to all marinas, then it's the mar...

Algae X filtration "assisters"
Has anyone here that has diesels used these magnetic like devices (Algae X) attached to their fuel lines. Supposedly they aid in breaking up contaminents in fuel for better filtration. "Snake-oil" or do they really work?

It's a Cummins 6BT - 210hp. Burns NO fuel ... cruise at 17kts ... T-Top, lean post, for FLA is very good, because you aren't running 70 miles to the canyon to fish. Very stable with the engine (and a hefty engine) smack dab in the center of the boat. A reasonable offer will buy someone a boat ... an...

I still have the 45 Hatt ... it's in Sag. Tower is gone and I painted it. I moved to FLA in July of 2007 and now miss the B31 that I had 10 years ago ... so I'm trying to pick one up for down here. Economics being as they are ... I'm looking to do it "priced right" and to take advantage of being in ...

They said on news (in Lauderdale) this AM that the wave heights at times were 14 ft (yikes) ... seemed excessive, but it was a Coastie that said it. Winds were out of the west on Sunday and they had small craft advisory on the east coast, so if they were getting same wind on west coast ... YOW ! I t...

B31 layup schedule
As fiberglass boats became "thinner" over the years (less glass) ... did Bertram ever change their layup schedule so that earlier "60s boats" would be different from late 70s or 80s boats ?
thanks

fiberglass vs. aluminum replacement tank
Hi folks ... I owned a 31 about 10 years ago, sold it and went to "floating condos". I'm now looking at a 31 again and unlike before, I now have to consider ethanol. What is cost difference and product advantages and dis-advantages of an aluminum tank versus a fiberglass tank ? The boat is gas power...
