Good to hear. Now get out there and enjoy the fruits of your labor. You built a really pretty boat. You should be proud.

Tony I have a simple side window frame design that I used and I think it worked out pretty well and I think looks pretty good. The windows will be fixed though. That is sweet. 23 knots at 2100 RPM's is perfect. I always found that the 31 really hits it stride at 24 to 25 knots depending on the boat weight. You might find yourself pushing her up a little.

John I have never looked at a 20, but I am assuming that the stringers are not glass and are wood. If it is anything like the 3d1, the wood in the stringers can rot away and not impact the hull. Carl There are those that just like those real old lines. The difference between out boat and that Hatteras is the fact the lines of the 31 are timeless. If you head over to a good auto supply store, they sell a tape that you can put on a stick and put it into the tank and it will let you know if you have water. Gas stations usually do not pump water. They actually billed the boat as 32 feet so it may have been a hair longer. I believe the beam was the same. So decks may not have been interchangeable between the Nassau and the 31.
