I have the yanmar lp6. they are great. Some of the Faithful have the Yanmar 4 bangers 240 I think and the are great also.

I had the same problem. I bought new ones. I was told to rebuild them they would not last. They were alot of $$$$$. Maybe rebuilding them would have been better. Sorry Im not much help. Maybe Bruce will chime in.
