your welcome !!! i even used a 1x12 piece of wood at the end of the main beam of jig mitered to 10 degrees the same as down angle of ZF-220 IRM gears .and put a prop coupling on the wood to emulate the gears connected to the engine so the jig is the exact same as the real cummins engine and gears

teak louvered doors on either side of engine covers are the air intakes a K&N air filter and 4" ID pipe behind grill goes directly to the turbo intake wrapped in W/P blanket worth about 7HP at cruise and DB level with sound down about 2 points lower then OEM engine compartment with diesels

correct tony you need at least 1000 pounds of torque output at cruise speed to utilize any effects of raking the propellers. number one you have to lift the boat up to ride on inners strakes and yes a pair of 454" mercruisers can attain 26 knots but cannot sustain that speed with any fuel economy so...

i would never own a 31 Bertram with side panels .seriously how the hell do you lean over the sides of the hull and maintain any stability.????????? i may be wrong BUT then every kitchen in the world would have to eliminate the 4" "kick plate" under the cabinets.
