past posts on the subject indicate a 20x23 prop will be a good fit for the cummins 250 I kept the original strut angle, used high tide marine struts which are duplicates of the original set up for 1/1/2 shafts the mechanic says he does not want to go bigger in diameter than 19 inches, is there a min...

Troy this lift is already installed with the dock , actually its a 20,000 lb lift, so weight that will not be an issue , its a deeded dock with property on the spill way in boyton. the width of the property is 30 feet and the dock goes out 45 feet. boat lift for a 31
Looking at dock space for sale with a four post lift, concrete posts , 16000lb weight limit .
Would this be adequate for a bertram 31 with diesels .
Also what is the minumum width between the posts to fit the boat. I never measured the beam at the widest point of the boat
thanks

When I bought my 31 it was mostly stripped, so I need new helm, ram, etc.
I am using a helm pod from Capt Patrick, so would like a flush mount helm, any recommendations on type of helm/ram that would be used
Thanks

Searched the site.
It seems most of the application have 1.5/1 trannies with these motors , is it okay to have 2/1 or what negative effects would that yield.
The motors that I am looking at have twindisc 2/1 mounted to them.
Thanks
