I wish i could take the credit for the work but not by my hand.
Marlins fiberglass /painter did most of the demo/rebuilding
Cabrerra the vberth and deck engine boxes.

Still finishing the engine install but it's pretty much done

boat lift for a 31

Looking at dock space for sale with a four post lift, concrete posts , 16000lb weight limit .
Would this be adequate for a bertram 31 with diesels .

Also what is the minumum width between the posts to fit the boat. I never measured the beam at the widest point of the boat

When I bought my 31 it was mostly stripped, so I need new helm, ram, etc.

I am using a helm pod from Capt Patrick, so would like a flush mount helm, any recommendations on type of helm/ram that would be used

Searched the site.
It seems most of the application have 1.5/1 trannies with these motors , is it okay to have 2/1 or what negative effects would that yield.

The motors that I am looking at have twindisc 2/1 mounted to them.

Sounds like that boat show was a lot of fun
The seller has not been able to make them run, even though they were running take outs.
they were comissoned in eary 2000 so most likeyly all the hoses need to be replaced, so for the cost , still seems better to bite the bullet and buy new.
