For the record, the only reason why I chose ATF was because I had some on the boat. I'm sure there are better, longer lasting products for cable lubrication. That said, it worked great!

I also put mine under the aft salon seat behind the drawer. This was in the middle of the rewire before anything was zip tied. The galvanic isolator is in the upper right corner of the picture.
