Scooter - I just did this - but remained with the two batteries for now - but plan on adding a 3rd soon - I went with a new blue sea panel - that has a wiring provision for three batteries. started like this http://www.thehulltruth.com/attachments/test-area/78783d1246331659-bimini-bert_elec.jpg http...

In Floriduh you see all kinds - I've seen a few car seats strapped down to T-tops - I've seen a few swings like this hanging from t-tops - my favorite was a bigger cc where the guy had fashioned big D anchors and had strapped a infant seat to the front of his CC. The baby (I'm talking newborn) was s...

Correction.. I should have said "when a catamaran was pitted against a MONOhull" My take is that it's less about two guys that sail boats well - more about how good their respective attorneys are on interpreting the rules. I raced sailboats for years too - great fun and really had more of a good ti...

Oh yeah! Not sure if I was more shocked at the original house fuses or the 26 years of wiring hacks from previous owners. Some people should not attempt DIY and hire a professional (and good grief if it was done by a professional) . Either do it right - or don't bother. replaced the battery tray (th...

You talking about stuffing boxes or cutless bearings?
For stuffing boxes many go with the PSS dripless

recommendations on thru hulls, sea strainers?
I broke one of the seacocks on the starboard thru hull going to the sea strainer. It was fun changing out the raw water pump with no cut off. Thank goodness for new bilge pumps. So I guess that will be on my list of things to replace (the list is getting larger not smaller) Any recommendations? I kn...

New Fridge, new sinks and faucets, refinish all interior wood, replace all door, hinge, hook hardware, replace bimini. It's been huge fun and will be a fun, economical and reliable boat. Of course, it's always cheaper to find one that is already done. What fridge did you end up going with? I think ...

I really like the manifold idea - I'll probably incorporate that when I redo some of the thru hulls. I'll try and get a picture of the 500 pump tonight if you want JR - on the 2nd picture I have a cigarette lighter plug on the port side (and you can see the plug draped) that the pump plugs into - It...

I just installed one of these on the swim platform of my B-28. I also installed a raw water wash down at the same time - I use the raw water wash down to fill the tub and a 500 rule to circulate and oxigenate the water. In cooler weather I can keep bait alive for a week - when the water hit's the 90...
