I would say it will be ok those were running take outs correct ?
the po probably didn't go up to 5 inch
build the other side the same way and test for back pressure in the water under load
if its too high you will need the 4 inch shower heads and can easily make a new transition at the surge tube

yes it was a hike I put gas on different card and cash to mix it all up and never asked for a recite so ill never know how much it cost
we lost steering in va beach high water alarm at the 50 bridge bilge failures 3 out of 3 wasn't to bad haha learned a lot about the boat on the trip

I ran mine home to NJ from Wrightsville beach all intercoastal dismal swap canal was interesting
it took me 5 days to get home we only ran in the daylight

JP I haven't pressure tested them yet
the tank is only 5 years old and the tubes aren't removable to check them doesn't mean its not bad though
ill try and plug the one end and at least rule out filters and fittings with a pressure test

when I repowered with the cummins I just used fuel hose with barbed fittings and clamps ive had an air leak on suction side from day one tried everything multiple times to seal it to no avail what hoses are you guys using jic ?? source for hoses and fittings and made by someone or crimped yourself t...

without a bracket the cav plate should be even with the bottom of the hull
there is a formula somewhere online for set back and cav plate height so it might be ok ill look for the formula

I run 4 inch with my 210s at dead 650rpm idle its loud come up a little in the rpms and its hardly noticeable at cruise you hear the engines over the exhaust sound
and im stock 1 1/4 intake also no problems

I made a simple template from 2x4 and a 4x4 I think my cummins manual had all the measurements to make one I went with 4 inch exhaust stock 454 size? no mufflers and made surge tubes very grumpy sounding at idle but at cruise you really don't hear the exhaust anymore the water itakes are still 1 1/4...

I put them in and they are great no speed demon but 14 gallons and hour total at cruise is great I cruise 20 knots at 2200 rpm 22 at 2400 and top out just shy of 26 zf 63a trans 1.5 ratio 3 blade 20x22 props going to play with the props when I get some time give them more pitch as I can easily hit 2...

I bought my boat from Wilmington and ran it home on the icw it took 5 days minus drinking way too much tied up at night and mechanical failures it was a really nice run
