It depends on how crazy you want to get. For a couple hundred bucks you could have the frame cad plated or electroless nickle plated and it will last forever, especially if you paint over those platings.'

But probably the easiest thing to do is to paint that steel frame with POR-15

Well he saved me a ton of work in bringing the color back to a mahogany deck, and a ton of money having it fixed after I did it wrong in the first place.

Now take that example and multiply it several times over and, well, you get the idea.

Matt- I've never been a Post owner, but I play one on TV.

Seriously, in my experience they are famous for very large interior space, well built hull and mechanics, but relatively flat bottomed and a little rough on the bones in any sort of head sea.
