Hello all, It has been a long time since I have been on the forum. I sold my custom Bertram 31 a few years back (Wasn't for sale). I know a few of us on this board have ordered underwater lights from macris industries and want to post and update and get others updates as well. I also have cummins 270s in mine. I truly do love them and they are easy to work on and parts are cheap. I think if I ever repower again, I'll go with 300's or 330's I'm heavy so I cruise at 20 knots and top out at 24 knots loaded. I had a Volvo in my last boat ( maintanice nightmare) and a gas mari...

I have had both. Volvo KAMD in my last boat and cummins 270hp in my current B31. The cummins 270hp blows the Volvo away. Parts are a 3rd of the cost and maintanice is easy. The Swedish engineering on the Volvos is something to be desired and once you get up in hours the maintanice becomes 10 fold. W...

Yes. The stern rail is a so cal thing or more (west coast). So is the bow rail coming all the way back to the back of the bridge also you'll notice the bait tank in the center of the deck. We do a lot of our fishing on anchor. That's why most of our boats have bow pulpits ( not very liked on this bo...
