So for the next step, there seems to be some cost differences between the muffler mfg. Any mfg you prefer over others?

It may be worth a ride to check it out. The 3116's have a bad wrap, just or not, and may be the reason the price is so low. They had issues with injectors/rack adjustment and soft blocks I believe "FAP" was the stamping to look for. If these issues have been addressed, they seem to be good motors.

Ed, good idea!

I hadn't thought to use it on the boat. We use it on the wood floors in the house. With 2 kids and a dog they're starting to show a little wear but the oragne glow restores them and lasts for a couple of weeks with pretty good foot traffic.
