Engine access did come up in my conversation with the Captain. There is a split deck design option similar to the B31 that allows one side or the other to be opened independently. At least one of the other boats has gone with that option. This is Gavio's boat and it's optioned out the way he wanted ...

Forgot, I downloaded their ghost tracker software a week or so ago.
It's in nassau/paradise island at I think hurricane hole marina. Going to head down there later today or tomorrow.

I would also try to keep any real weight (fuel, water, batteries, generator, etc) as low in the boat and close to the centre line as possible.
Higher & further outside is going to increase the pitch and roll factor.

250 f ? (as in 250hp Yamaha outboard) getting 6000hrs of running time ?? Good luck with that. But 250hp is adequate power to push a B25 to its design specs. The higher you go, the less stable the ride.
Raising the height of hardtop + adding a flybridge would have a diminishing safety factor at speed too.
Does/did the boat you're considering not have the center line drop down in the cockpit area under the hardtop?

I liken tabs to power windows/locks in your vehicle. You don't need them, but they sure do enhance the ride. Personally, I wouldn't be without either. I have instatrim by boat levelor on both my B25's and they've been flawless. They have a model specific to the B25 transom bump out. Good luck, John
