The water was up about 3 feet at the house, little rain and some wind. Just for grins, I turned on the dock light and fished a little while. Caught 3 specks and called in quits. The fish should really turn on over the next dayor so as the water begins to fall.

I have experienced three battery explosions. Two on the old bertram and one car battery. All three explosions occurred while attempting to crank the engine. Turn the ignition switch and boom!!!!. Luckily the boat explosions occurred at the dock.

You should also pull the fuel intake tubes from the tank. The screens if you have them could be blocked. You can check these during the fuel polishing service as Capt Patrick recommends.

UV, Matt and I anchored "Pipe Dream" right behind the new "Mary P" across from the Port Eads Light in South Pass last Thursday evening. As we approached, my initial thought was why is a Coast Guard Cutter anchored in South Pass....then we passed along side and saw the name. Pretty cool looking boat....
