I have a Xantex Truecharger 20(?) three bank charger that I have had for 5 years. I have the same Optima batteries that I installed at the same time as well. I leave it plugged in all winter. You can get a temperature probe that attaches to one of the battery terminals and interfaces with the charger as well so that it automatically adjusts to battery temp. I have it mounted outboard of the port engine. My boat stays in a boathouse year round, but it still looks knew. Just spray it with CX occassionally. The only complaint I have heard from others is that it is not sealed and can corrode if salt water gets in it. I haven't had that problem. I unqualifiedly recommend it. Rawleigh
